Pouring a youthful ripe ruby, its forward, spicy, and floral profile lifts from the glass with aromas of wild cherry, menthol, pressed flowers, and toasted cedar. A medium to full-bodied red, it’s supple and silky in texture, with a luxurious sheen of fruit and oak spice, as well as a rounded mouthfeel, and its spiced perfume lasting on the finish. This is a solid and attractive first offering that I would be happy to revisit over the coming 5-6 years.”
